Got Questions? We’ve Got You Covered.
Do I need any experience to start?
Not at all. Our classes are designed for all levels — from complete beginners to advanced practitioners. You’ll learn at your own pace with personalized guidance from our coach.
Who teaches the classes?
All classes are led by Professor Tiago Santa Ritta, a Brazilian third-degree black belt officially recognized by the IBJJF (International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation).
He has over 15 years of teaching experience and 23 years of training — combining authentic Brazilian roots with a modern, human approach to coaching.
Is RAM BJJ family-friendly?
Absolutely. We’re proud to be a family-friendly academy where parents, kids, and teens can all feel welcome.
Is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu safe?
Yes. Safety is always our top priority. Every class is personally taught and supervised by Professor Tiago Santa Ritta, a certified third-degree black belt with over 15 years of teaching experience, ensuring that every student trains in a safe, respectful, and professional environment.
Can kids train Jiu-Jitsu?
Yes! We have dedicated kids’ programs that focus on confidence, discipline, and anti-bullying skills — all while having fun and staying active.
What should I wear for my first class?
If you don’t have a gi yet, come in comfortable gym clothes. We’ll provide a loaner gi for your first trial so you can experience real Jiu-Jitsu training.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes! Your first class is completely free — no pressure, no commitment. Come experience the energy and see why we say we rise as one.
What makes RAM BJJ different?
At RAM BJJ, we go far beyond technique — we build structure, discipline, and purpose from the ground up. Every class is led by a certified third-degree black belt and follows a clear system designed for real progression and long-term growth.
What truly sets us apart is our culture: respect, excellence, and connection on and off the mats. Here, you don’t just train — you transform.
How often should I train?
That depends on your goals. Most students train 2–3 times per week to start building consistency and confidence. You can increase frequency as you progress.
Can I just watch a class first?
Of course! We encourage you to visit, meet the team, and feel the atmosphere. It’s the best way to understand what makes our community special.
